I'm dying here in the Outer Banks. I have seen my future and it involves a lot of free time. Living out here in country has really calmed down my good times. I'm not sure if it's the 20 minute drive into civilization or the 20 minute drive to the nearest black people. I know that there are some around here I just haven't seen them. But the people around here are the nicest white people that I have ever meet in my entire life. I was so suspect of them when I first moved down here because I was not used to being told "Hello, welcome to ...." by every single person in the store in every store in town.
But Tonya and DeMario came to visit me a couple of weeks ago and they were feeling the same way I was about all this friendliness. They loved in out here too because of crazy white people we met on the beach. Even if the water was 30 degree. I love living this close to the beach tho. The only problem with it is that is when it rains you can smell all of the water.
